The creative mama behind Chuckles, Joyce, specialises in modern cloth nappies as well as a few other products for mums and babies. They are a relatively new home business based in Auckland, which launched early 2020.
Chuckles was built based on the strong belief that no parents should struggle to afford basic cloth nappies, even if it is starting with one nappy a day. Chuckles strive to provide a range of brands and styles of nappies (from affordable to premium) in our online store because they believe that every baby is different and their needs therefore differ.
They recently released a range of Kiwiana inspired nappies with sizes available for bigger kids as well.

Laia from Topponcinos (top-on-chi-no) makes soft, Montessori mat-like pillows for newborn babies. They provide comfort, support and consistency throughout the first few delicate months of a baby’s life.
Laia got given one of these pillows when she had her daughter and really loved it. She wanted to gift them to some of her other pregnant friends but couldn’t find any for sale in New Zealand, so she learnt how to make them!

Shirley Cresswell is a full-time New Zealand realist artist who paints in acrylics.
Based in Hamilton they paint realist paintings that evoke memories of special places. In particular beach walkways and dinghies. Their limited edition canvas and paper prints are also very popular and made in New Zealand.

After her second baby was born, the two car seats in the back took away the normal changing spot and Stork and Dairsy creator had to resort to the dreaded change in the front seat. It became routine on those trips to the town when the boot was full of the prams and groceries.
These change pads are made of a mouldable bean bag, middle board, and foam while the top cover is made of durable cotton and the base is made of a hard canvas. The base of the bean bag is sewn into the flexible overall cover, and double stitched to ensure that no beans can escape. They are nice and slim so fit easily behind a seat or in the boot. The covers are removable for easy washing if need be.
