Although listing on boonly is free, we don’t list just any business. To be listed on boonly, a business needs to display the following characteristics:
- Be a local (New Zealand based) small to medium-sized business
- Make and sell New Zealand made products
- Display real craftmanship, ingenuity, creativity and passion
- Sell really cool “stuff”

Tips to submit images
We prefer small images to keep this website nice and fast, so we’ve limited your upload size to 200kb per image. That’s not very big, so here are a few tips to help you reduce the file size of your images before you upload them.
- Use an image editing tool, for example, pixlr.com/x
- Crop your image to a square
- Resize your image to roughly 800 x 800 pixels
- Save images with a descriptive filename and save them as a .jpg file
- Reduce your file size further by adjusting the quality, see screenshot
