Jane is the owner of The Mother Hood. As a mother, she knows that motherhood is one of the greatest things in life, it can be one of the hardest.
Jane felt alone at home with a toddler and a newborn when she had her second baby. She wanted to hang out with other mums, but it was often too much to arrange naps, feeds, and even just the idea of trying to get out of the house. So she started an online group called ‘The Mother Hood for moms’. This group was a godsend, with two small children. She was able to interact with other mums who knew what she was going through and could relate to it.
Fast forward 5 years and The Mother Hood has now grown into a website, a shop and a blog.
But the core values still remain the same. It is all about supporting and helping mums through the journey that is motherhood.
Their products are all selected to make life easier for busy mums. Whether it is our Peek-a-Baby carrier wraps that allow you to get on with life hands-free, while still holding your baby close or our products to help your baby’s sleep, Jane loves finding products that she knows you will love too.
Jane has spent over 20 years working with mums, as a teacher, a nanny, a sleep consultant and now has two beautiful children of her own.
Basically, she’s out to do what she can to make parenting that little bit easier for you.
Great products, great service, support, and advice!

Woven Womb
Terri is a babywearing consultant and owner of Woven Womb. She started Woven Womb so that she could help other families find a local place to go to for carrier advice. It has grown from there, and she truly loves being involved in her client’s journey.
After limited success with her stretchy wraps, she went along to a Babywearing Southland (now Invercargill Babywearing Community) meet, found the help she needed, and started volunteering at meets. This was the place that really introduced her to the many different styles of carrying, and opened her eyes to the many possibilities. I now co-lead this volunteer community support group and love helping enable families to share the experience.
Terri started Woven Womb to share her passion, but also in the hope that she can help other families figure out what carriers can offer for them, be it a long term love, or short term help during a holiday or surgery.
