Ellen is the owner and artist of ZeaZo Art Studio, originally from Holland, but very happy to have been living with her family in New Zealand for the past 15 years.
She is a mixed media artist who designs handmade journals and abstract paintings, working in Napier, Hawke’s Bay, from her home on a boat. Her abstract paintings are often influenced by her passion for flowers. She mostly works with acrylics, both on paper and canvas, selling prints and original pieces.
The journals are all handcrafted from top to bottom, painted, and come in a wide range of types and sizes, incorporating various techniques using ink, hand-colored papers, cloth, lace, decorative papers, beads, embellishments, and ephemeral.
So, when you love (art) journaling, unique and handmade notebooks, lapbooks, a keepsake album or would like to have a-one-of-a-kind journal handmade for a special event (pregnancy, birth, birthday, engagement, wedding, etc.), have a look at her beautiful journals.
Ellen aims to recycle as much as possible, and takes custom orders as well.

Neal’s Handmade Pens
Neal Sadgrove from Neal’s Handmade Pens first started woodturning and making pens 3 years ago and only recently started selling.
Pens are all made to exact specifications and are finished in a hard-wearing high gloss, high temp shellac to enhance the beautiful grains. These pens are made to last a lifetime!
Neal prefers to use indigenous New Zealand timber, such as Kauri, Totora, Matai, Rata, Pohutukawa, Towai, Hinau, Black Maire, Kowai, Mahoe, Beech, but occasionally he also uses imported wood.
The pens use a regular screw-in ball refill that can be purchased almost anywhere, but if desired, Neal can have either blue or black available as well.
These pens make a fantastic present or a small indulgence.

Her main product is reusable Beeswax food wraps made from 100% cotton, natural ingredients, using organic and New Zealand products, and each wrap is carefully handmade. Beeswax food wraps are an eco-friendly, reusable alternative to glad wrap. Because their wraps are made from natural ingredients, they are compostable too!
They also have products that replace zip-lock bags, beeswax and essential oil candles, and hand-painted watercolour greeting cards.
