Emily Sherlock is an artist based in the Waikato who loves to draw and paint pet portraits and wildlife. Most of her pieces are drawn in graphite pencils on A3. Ellen is the owner and artist of ZeaZo Art Studio, originally from Holland, but very happy to have been living with her family in New Zealand for the past 15 years.
She is a mixed media artist who designs handmade journals and abstract paintings, working in Napier, Hawke’s Bay, from her home on a boat. Her abstract paintings are often influenced by her passion for flowers. She mostly works with acrylics, both on paper and canvas, selling prints and original pieces.
The journals are all handcrafted from top to bottom, painted, and come in a wide range of types and sizes, incorporating various techniques using ink, hand-colored papers, cloth, lace, decorative papers, beads, embellishments, and ephemeral.
