Creative Sand is a small family business with big ambitions based in Auckland, New Zealand.
Their exciting journey started in October 2013 after returning from a holiday abroad where they saw sand art activity being held in a park with lots of excited kids “colouring in” pictures using coloured sand! Dr Bugs Popcorn
A little family-owned business, Dr Bugs Popcorn is made in Christchurch by the Posthuma family.
The business has been owned by Raymond and Monique since 1999. Over this time, the demand for popcorn has only been growing. They now supply microwave popcorn, ready to eat popcorn and candyfloss to stores right over New Zealand.
Their products are all made with the utmost care from New Zealand grown, non-GE popping corn; providing the people of New Zealand with a healthy alternative snack food.

Eco Kiwi Kids
Eco Kiwi Kids is run by two mamas who noticed their little ones were getting out of touch with nature and getting taken over by screens, rather than being outdoors exploring and making huts like we used to do as kids.
It became their mission to reintroduce their kids back to nature and all the amazing things it has to offer.
Their eco-friendly activity packs do exactly that, with wonderful educational fun and creative activities. Their Native Plant Activity Pack for ages 3-5 and 6+ focuses on educating kids on the wonders of the plants that grow in our own backyards. It has hands-on activities that get kids exploring outside on those beautiful sunny days but also activities for indoors too when the weather isn’t so great.
All paper is made from recycled materials and their pack contents are sourced with eco-friendliness in mind.

Little Farmer
Melanie is the mother of two youngsters. Her small home business is Little Farmer, a child subscription box for the seasonal gardening and nature activities. Melanie believes that having children with a great link to nature is very important, and she wants to make it as simple as possible to help parents teach and learn with them.
The boxes take the trouble out of knowing when to plant and provide easy instructions on how to sow your seeds and take care of each plant type. Small Farmer’s boxes do great gifts too! They sell one-time packs, monthly subscriptions, or prepaid subscriptions for 3, 6, or 12 months.

Project Play
In 2017, after playing with the concept for many years, Angela decided to take the plunge and start ProjectPlay.
Angela is a fully-registered ECE Teacher with a Teaching Bachelor’s Degree. She has over 10 years of private/corporate early learning centre teaching experience and has served as a liaison instructor, mentor and headteacher. She has a keen interest in infants’ and toddlers learning and development.
In sunny Hawke’s Bay, ProjectPlay is a kiwi-owned and run family company. Angela strives to bring consistency, open-ended loose parts and services for children ages 0-6 alongside her husband and son. For opportunities that inspire and spark the imagination, they do all the hard work and scour the neighbourhood and the globe.
They value real, authentic play experiences for children. Project Play is inspired by Montessori, Rudolph Steiner and Pikler philosophies while also supporting the theory of loose parts.
