Baby Play
Angelique from BabyPlay is a mum to one, and believes children learn naturally through play and that our job as both parents and educators is to set the environment, provide appropriate resources and scaffold the child’s play.
BabyPlay takes inspiration from Reggio, Montessori, and Waldorf education practices. They provide beautiful natural open-ended resources for children from birth, which ignite their imagination, curiosity and spark.
They also provide parents and educators with creative play ideas, both using resources and also other budget-friendly items commonly found around the home.

Furnitoyz
Meet the Furnitoyz team:Â Euan is a Transport Branch Manager for a transport company in Christchurch, and Michelle works part-time at a preschool, and she has worked in the education sector for the past 10 years and have two grown boys at home.
When their children were growing up, the kids were always looking for something different, that could have been a game, toy or furniture that was well made but it was either too expensive or cheaply made, so Euan would make what they were looking for but they always had a twist to them.
When Michelle started working in the education sector she noticed that a lot of parents were asking about where they could find good quality products that didn’t cost the earth, then a good friend that she worked with suggested them to make a toy box and the Furnitoyz journey began.
They love what they do and would love meeting the Furnitoyz families when they deliver products.

Moo & The Gang
A homeschooling family, living fulltime on the road in our vintage bus! Here is the story of Moo & The Gang:
As a Steiner/Waldorf inspired family with small children on one income, beautiful handmade toys were well out of our finances league. So, as true children of our great DIY nation, we made our own!
A few years, and a couple more children {making a total of 4!} down the track, and now proudly a Steiner/Waldorf inspired home-educating family, we decided to share the handmade love.
Our wooden toys are free-cut, sanded, painted with non-toxic waterbased paints, and sealed with a beeswax-coconut oil blend.
We hope our lovingly crafted pieces enrich your home, and inspire you in your own pursuits of DIYness and creativity!
Note: If anyone in your family has a nut allergy that prohibits the use of coconut oil please contact us and we will discuss other sealing options with you.
