Crates and Stones
Based in Lower Hutt, Stefan from Crates and Stones creates handmade wooden crates. He offers a four-bottle crate and two different types of two-bottle crates that look brilliant for wine bottles as well. They are handmade from very light cedarwood with a smooth organic oil/wax finish.
Stefan from Crates and Stones makes handmade wooden milk bottle crates and some other pieces of wooden furniture. The idea of these crates was born to solve a problem they had.
Stefan and his family usually buy milk at their local weekend market in refillable glass bottles. It’s always been a hassle to take the bottles back home in a shopping bag, and then where do you store the empty bottles safely before the next market day?
During the Covid-19 lockdown, his daughter came up with the idea to make a wooden milk bottle crate, that solves the storage and shopping issues. Being a trained cabinet maker Stefan supported her in design and making. After a few prototypes, they locked in the best design and friends and neighbours started placing orders!
The crates come in two sizes, 2 bottles or 4 bottles, and work just as well for wine bottles.
All crates are handmade from very light cedar wood with a smooth organic oil/wax finish.

They also help other local food suppliers by making their goods available on their delivery site, so that consumers can buy from several local businesses at once and have them delivered for one delivery charge at the same time. They have loved being able to use fresh milk as dairy farmers every day, and want to give others the chance to do the same.
Fram Fresh South is committed to giving customers the best experience on Farm Fresh. Farm Fresh South farm in a sustainable way following organic principles. Their pastures are spray-free and no chemical fertilisers are used. There’s also the plastic being saved by using reuseable glass bottles.

Milk 2.0
Kristina Ivanova, based in Auckland, is the mastermind behind Milk 2.0, your healthy plant-based milk alternative.
Although there is already has a large variety of plant-based milk products readily available, Kristina has always felt that something was missing from nearly every alternative. For example:
- Taste & texture are often completely compromised
- They don’t actually contain a whole lot of nuts (Milk2.0 has 10x the average)
- They’re filled with chemicals and additives
- Products are UHT and HPP processed to extend their shelf life, but the nutritional value of the milk deteriorates over time
Recently invited to the TED conference in Vancouver to showcase our cruelty-free vision for modern milk, Milk 2.0 is also committed to zero-waste and use glass bottles for all deliveries and sustainable packaging for all their products.
Milk 2.0 is reinventing the future of milk and available in natural or chocolate flavour.
