Charity Tea
Charity Tea started with a single call from a friend working for a non-profit organisation in Haiti. She told Gill (Charity Tea Founder) about a baby girl who had been abandoned at the local hospital in Les Cayes, Haiti.
Unable to forget this call, Gill decided to make this “her problem” and sent money to feed the child for a year. Within a few days, she heard about 6 more hungry children. She learnt that in Haiti many children only had 1 or 2 meals a day. These meals often lacked proper nutrients. More so, she learnt that food was not provided to children in the hospital. Children that were abandoned or had no one to feed them simply had to go hungry.
She started Ten18 International (www.ten18International.com), a charity that raises money in New Zealand to support hungry children here at home, and in Haiti.
To help raise funds for the work of Ten18 International Gill also launched Charity Tea – a luxury brand of loose-leaf organic tea; health-promoting blends that nourish the drinker and nourish hungry children. Revenue from sales of Charity Tea supports our charitable purposes.
Charity Tea currently partner with the Kai Kitchen Trust in New Zealand to support their school lunch programmes, and we partner with Little footprints Big Steps in Haiti to run feeding programmes.
Founder of Charity Tea and Ten18 International; Gill Bredl is a passionate and dedicated social entrepreneur. She is the founder of Charity Tea, a luxury organic loose leaf tea brand that uses its revenue to address issues of world hunger. She is community and inclusion focussed; passionate about social justice and ethical trade. She has 3 wonderful children and a dog; and enjoys movies, reading, beach walks and learning the violin.

Dirty Hippie
Dawn started making natural personal hygiene products a decade ago when she had trouble finding natural products (at a price she could afford), that were actually natural and worked.
New to motherhood, she was shocked and appalled when she learnt about aluminium in shop-bought deodorant and that it could be passed onto breastfed babies. Her journey progressed and she started making deodorant for her family and friends, first in her kitchen, then their caravan and then a high cabin where she still makes the products today.
Dirty Hippie grew through word of mouth to become the successful small business it is today. Dawn’s objective remains to provide all-natural products that you will love to use, as organic as possible and as affordable as possible.
Dirty Hippie is also passionate about environmentally-friendly packaging, with measures in place to minimise their impact on the environment:
- Lip balms, deodorant and solid moisturiser bars packaged in cardboard tubes
- Kawakawa balm in glass jars with metal lids
- Shampoo & Conditioner bars with only a paper wrapper
- Raw honey is available in glass jars

Mammas Milk Bar
Wendy is the owner and mastermind of Mammas Milk Bar. She is a mum of 2 wee babes and started Mammas Milk Bar to help support women during their pregnancy and breastfeeding journeys based on her own experience.
During and after her pregnancy, she struggled with two things:
- Boosting milk supply in a HEALTHY way
- Finding clean protein that had NO nasty stuff to support my needs through my journey from pregnancy, postpartum to breastfeeding.
BOOSTING SUPPLY: She had low milk supply and didn’t want to rely on sweet treats or cookies(!), so she created healthy versatile blends using the best locally sourced ingredients
PROTEIN NEEDS: During pregnancy and breastfeeding, protein needs can increase between 70 to 100+ grams per day. Usually, a mama can meet all her protein needs by having a varied diet. But some women struggle because of morning sickness and need an additional boost. This is where clean protein powders can help.
So now Wendy brings these to every mamma out there, from a place of love and Aroha, from one mama to another. Authentic and honest clean protein, and healthy lactation booster blends, made from highest quality ingredients like dutch cocoa, real vanilla bean, organic coconut sugar, etc.
As a mum, it is so important to know what’s going into your body for your baby. Mammas Milk Bar uses 100% natural ingredients like real vanilla bean, dutch cocoa and organic coconut sugar.

Nature’s Green Goddess
Nature’s Goddess is a locally owned & operated business in Auckland born out of love for Hemp Seed Oil.
Dave & Janine have always loved nature and the outdoors. The abundance of natural remedies and resources available to them in West Auckland has been a blessing from Mother Earth. Their journey began when Janine decided to take a course in plant medicine in 2016 at Kawai Purapura with a friend. Ever since then, her enthusiasm for natural body products grew and she started making balms, scrubs and hair oils using Kawakawa, Kanuka and Manuka plant extracts. as a passionate hobby and as gifts for loved ones.
In 2020, their world came to a standstill with Covid 19 and did we have time on our hands!
Dave and Janine had just started using Hemp Seed Oil on our bodies and salads and my creative energy started to awaken! She started infusing my plant medicine knowledge into Hemp Oil and out came Nature’s Goddess!
- They use certified organic cold-pressed Hemp seed oil to create a variety of beard & body oil blends using raw plant ingredients of Manuka, Rosemary, Lavender & Kawakawa.
- Theuy use 100% natural ingredients from our garden to produce infusions that are suitable for all skin types for both men & women.
Some of the benefits of their oils have been used for the treatment of dry skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis & dermatitis, for healing acne scars and blemishes, for hydrating & smoothing dry hair and coarse beards whilst supporting healthy growth and shine.
