Dragon Bath Worx
Dragon Bath Worx is owned and operated by Silver, with occasional help from her daughter and husband.
It all started with a quest, a quest to make her sensitive dry and flaky allergy-prone skin better. After many years of struggling with sore and scaly skin and trying many different soaps and lotions.
Silver found some soap at a market that made a difference. Silver’s daughter also tried a soap from the market and found her skin was also improved. However, to their dismay, they discovered the soap they liked so much was not so friendly to the environment.
All the products at Dragon Bath works are made with earth-friendly, sustainable, ethically-sourced quality ingredients. They are free from petroleum products, synthetic detergents, and palm oil.
Their motto is: Kind to your skin and the environment

Escents Handmade Soaps
Caitlin and her daughter Holly started this small business adventure in 2019 to raise money for Holly’s trip to Australia. Holly is a cheerleader and travels to multiple competitions yearly, one being in Australia.
Cailtin and Holly have a great deal of fun creating these soaps and they hope that you enjoy them too. And all products are homemade right here in New Zealand.

Mel is the owner of Handmade with Love. Her whole being revels in the creation of things that affect and warm the heart of the soul. It is an incredible joy for both her and the world to make items from fresh ingredients and sustainable materials.
Her passion has always been Fashion, Design, Cakes & Sugarcraft. When she’s in her ‘creative’ mode, she is the happiest. She likes to bake, paint, and make homemade presents.
Mel is also an advocate for goods that are safe. With the number of contaminants applied to commercial products, they know what goes into them when they hand-make items. She has created these incredible products with beautiful and natural ingredients, from soap to cosmetics, which are not only perfect for the body but also good for the environment.
Mel makes a variety of things and also has a number of tutorials and soap making classes available to unleash your own creativity.

Kalla Beauty
Kalla Beauty NZ’s creator, Martina, is passionate about embracing a zero-waste lifestyle where ever possible. Her desire to reduce the plastic in her family’s life (particularly in their bathrooms) led Martina to take a hobby class in how to make soaps and shampoo bars. Martina’s beautiful hand-crafted shampoo bars and dry shampoo became an instant hit amongst friends and family.
This passion project blossomed into Kalla Beauty NZ, a boutique business focussed on creating beautiful eco-friendly hair and body products that are suitable for the whole family.
Martina’s products are free from the nasties which are found in many traditional style products – no petroleum-based products, silicones, parabens, or sulphates, so you can be confident that our products are safe for even the smallest members of your household.
All Kalla Beauty NZ’s packaging is either home compostable, reusable, or recyclable to help New Zealanders move towards plastic-free bathrooms one product at a time.

Welcome to the Modish. We aim to design quality “made-to-last” household items, reflecting our eco-friendly and zero-waste philosophy. We designed the popular Dish Swish soap shaker and Soap Step soap dish. Our catalogue of designs and creative wooden pieces is growing all the time.
We have a strong belief that products should be long-lasting and easy to assemble – we take pride in producing high-quality pieces that will stand the test of time.
All wooden pieces are designed and made by Modish in South Canterbury. Modish also designs a variety of durable stainless steel products which are manufactured to our specifications, overseas and in New Zealand.

Helen is the owner of Mokau soaps. She makes beautiful goats milk soaps with fresh raw goats milk.
All her soaps are made with high-quality oils, infused with Kawakawa, Mulberry Silk, Kaolin Clay, Oatmeal, New Zealand Honey.
Made in small batches, these soaps contain no chemicals, just all-natural soap.

Karina from Rhyme or Reason makes handmade, palm oil free soaps, most of which are vegan, although bars contain honey. Karina is a member of NZSMA (New Zealand Soap Maker’s Association).

Jess is the owner and creative mastermind behind Siren Soaps NZ. Jess makes artisan soaps, that are not only good for you and the environment but fun and funky too.
All her soaps are vegan-friendly and palm-free, and the shampoo bars are soap-free and sulphate free.

Soalchemy
Dianne is the owner of Soalchemy (pronounced Soul-chemy). It all began with a quest to make a better family soap, which became a hobby, and as demand grew, became a small company. It’s a family-owned company, 100% kiwi. Soalchemy is a soap, a spirit, and an alchemy fusion!
Dianne is proud to make soaps that lather well and leave hands feeling clean but not dried out. She uses quality ingredients to ensure good results for the customers. For optimal performance, she highly suggests stocking soap on a well-drained soap dish. It is very important to her ideology to eliminate plastic waste. Plastic is used sparingly and is being progressively removed. Most items are wrapped in wax paper, cardboard shipping and packaging are used, and cardboard labels are used.
