Kalla Beauty NZ’s creator, Martina, is passionate about embracing a zero-waste lifestyle where ever possible. Her desire to reduce the plastic in her family’s life (particularly in their bathrooms) led Martina to take a hobby class in how to make soaps and shampoo bars. Martina’s beautiful hand-crafted shampoo bars and dry shampoo became an instant hit amongst friends and family.
This passion project blossomed into Kalla Beauty NZ, a boutique business focussed on creating beautiful eco-friendly hair and body products that are suitable for the whole family.
Martina’s products are free from the nasties which are found in many traditional style products – no petroleum-based products, silicones, parabens, or sulphates, so you can be confident that our products are safe for even the smallest members of your household.
All Kalla Beauty NZ’s packaging is either home compostable, reusable, or recyclable to help New Zealanders move towards plastic-free bathrooms one product at a time.
