Tash from Lusid Beauty had the objective to create 100% plastic-free, eco-friendly and sustainable hair care products and to take the guesswork out of product selection.
Unlike traditional hair care, Lusid Beauty hair care system is designed for your specific hair type, because they believe that ALL hair is normal hair.
While your hair may just be oily because it’s due for a wash or you are using the wrong product, the basic structure of your hair doesn’t change. Fine, straight hair needs different nutrients to curly hair or wavy hair.
Their products are produced with sustainability in mind, to help you fall in love with your natural hair and embrace what makes you unique in an eco-friendly way.
Bonus extra: Complete the quiz on their website to find out which shampoo and conditioner bar is best for you.
BNWOT (Brand New With Old Things) produces handmade upcycled wool hooded coats and vests for children and women. They also make dresses, playsuits and bloomers for children, most of which are fully reversible. Their hooded vests are made from upcycled wool blankets and they offer custom orders.
These items are not mass-produced. There would normally be a maximum of 20-30 items made in any one of the fabrics so items truly are unique and special.
Nicki is the face behind Just Sew. She is a Mum of two, living on a little slice of paradise in rural Auckland, New Zealand.
Just Sew was born out of her passion for fabric and home decor, particularly cushions! She loves them and, not surprisingly, owns an extensive collection.
Working in the textile/interiors industry for many, many years grew my love of fabric, and a desire to work with that love, while raising her family, which started the Just Sew journey.
Along with both indoor and outdoor cushions, their range now includes throws, designer tea towels & aprons, bed linen and cot bedding. They are also very excited to have recently launched a new collection of lifestyle accessories – gorgeous scarves and hair scrunchies with more in the pipeline.
She offers a custom made service, sourcing the right fabric for your special item.
Every piece is manufactured by her in her home studio. Producing high quality, unique, on-trend home decor pieces and accessories is at the forefront of Just Sew.
She is excited to offer you a collection of boutique pieces via our online home decor and lifestyle accessories shop, along with a custom order service – creating the perfect piece for you.
Happy shopping! And remember ‘life is too short for ugly couch cushions!’
