Zanux overalls are specially designed to flatter and comfort women working outdoors. They are full of special features women will love, for example, zip on the hips to undo overalls without taking them off!
I’m based in Wairarapa. I designed the overalls a few years ago now and have been selling to farmers and gardeners around New Zealand. These overalls are specially designed with women in mind; they have a zip around the hips and so bathroom breaks are a breeze. We’ve added lots of extras to make them super convenient and just practical? Also they feature knee pad inserts which can be used if you are working in the garden kneeling a lot. They are super comfy and more feminine than the standard work overalls.
All overalls are made with 100% cotton right here in New Zealand.
My name is Aaron Ellis-Smith. I was born in New Zealand and live in Mangawhai, a coastal town on the east coast of the north island, 1 hour south of Whangarei.
I began carving in 2004 and have always loved timber. I carve most types of wood (and occasionally other mediums), but find swamp kauri the most enjoyable timber to sculpt. Something about it’s character, age (this can range from 2000 to 50,000 years old), feeling and uniqueness to New Zealand inspires me. I also enjoy New Zealand’s native forest, and perhaps part of the reason I love swamp kauri is, although it is a finite resource, it doesn’t require damage to, or the felling of our wonderful native forest.
Carving is something I enjoy doing, being a part of a pieces evolution into final form is something I never get tired of. I hope that those who see my work gain as much pleasure from the pieces, as I received creating them.
Project Cookie Island donates fabric masks to kids with cancer. Masks play a big part in their everyday lives with or without the pandemic. Due to chemo, these kids have to live with neutropenia (immunosuppression).
The masks help limit the chances of them breathing in dust amongst many other things that could cause them getting really sick. Our profits are used to make and donate masks to these vulnerable children.
