Little Joys
Amelie is a 15 years old clay figurine artist. After creating little clay charms for five years, Amelie decided to share her love of clay beyond friends and family.
The designs are her own and each piece is created individually, from moulding the clay and baking them in the oven to make them hard and durable.
Her mum helps her with the packaging and runs the business side of ‘Little Joys’. She named the company ‘Little Joys’ in the hope of sharing as much joy as she gets in making them.
The GLOW IN THE DARK Positivity Designs continue to be the most popular product. These little joys help children and adults with anxiety, frustration, confidence, bravery and happiness.
Custom designs available too.

The name ‘Mountain View Pottery’ comes from the street she lives in and the fact that she looks across her backyard to an uninterrupted view of Mt Kakepuku. Mt Kakepuku is in the background of some of the pottery photos, part the logo, and also stamped onto the base of each piece.

Nicola Reif
Nicola Reif is an award-winning, self-taught artist based in Nelson, New Zealand. Her subjects are mainly animals, birds and especially wildlife.
Nicola’s background in science and biology influences her style which is detailed yet artistic. Choosing to work in pastel allows precision, stunning clarity and depth of colour along with the ability to render the lightness of feathers and the softness of fur. It is a medium that complements natural subjects beautifully.
She’s committed to wildlife and environmental conservation through the medium of her art, making contributions in whatever way she can. She’s often out and about stalking wildlife in its natural habitat with her camera and, for the more exotic subjects and domestic pets, she uses photographic reference.

Sam Mathers
Sam Mathers is a contemporary Artist from Raglan. He is an internationally recognized artist exhibiting works in London, Singapore, Italy, America, and Australia.
He explores nautical abstract ideas within a graphic sensibility and plays with scale, depth, text, current and old media, languages, currencies and slang to create multi-layers of meaning – the opportunity for each viewer to find and connect with something different.
He deliberately creates scratches, paint drips and weather-beaten marks to add character and a natural look, while using a colour palette that resonates with him at the time.
He chooses his most popular original paintings and then makes screen prints or Giclee prints based on them.
All of his prints are limited to a small number of no more than 40 per print.

The Drawing Guy
Joel Bolton, a.k.a The Drawing Guy, has pursued three passions consistently and persistently since early childhood – Music, Art and Languages.
He throws himself fully into life as pianist, flautist, occasional trombonist, conductor, music teacher, artist and prolific learner of languages.
Although art has often played a secondary role due to music and family commitments, it has maintained a constant presence in his life.
In 1993 he took a year off to study oil painting and portraiture. Some excellent teaching, combined with specialist workshops, sparked a love affair with the oil medium and he has spent many years honing his skills in this area.
In recent times coloured pencil has taken on a more important role. Not only is it less messy than oils but it also has a wonderful soft and fine quality ideally suited to the rendering of animal fur.
Joel Bolton has been a finalist three times in the Adam Portraiture Award and two times in the Impressions National Art Award.
