Nicole from Mountain View Pottery makes functional pottery items in small batches. She enjoys experimenting with glaze colours and techniques to create pieces that are all individual.
The name ‘Mountain View Pottery’ comes from the street she lives in and the fact that she looks across her backyard to an uninterrupted view of Mt Kakepuku. Mt Kakepuku is in the background of some of the pottery photos, part the logo, and also stamped onto the base of each piece.
All her pottery items are food, microwave and dishwasher-safe unless specifically stated in the description of an item.
Lynette and Toni together with their talented team of knitters make baby clothing and accessories from the finest Alpaca wool (100% New Zealand).
Alpaca fibre is 5 times warmer than sheep’s wool and is not prickly at all. It has no lanolin which makes it hypoallergenic.
Alpaca Baby clothing and accessories are soft and cosy, perfect for your little ones!
Littlest Pip Knits is a local Christchurch business making high-quality knitwear and crochet products. The creator, Pip, makes all things knitting and crochet related – lots of warm winter accessories and eco-friendly make-up remover pads, as well as cute crochet toys for little ones!

Dianne is the owner of Soalchemy (pronounced Soul-chemy). It all began with a quest to make a better family soap, which became a hobby, and as demand grew, became a small company. It’s a family-owned company, 100% kiwi. Soalchemy is a soap, a spirit, and an alchemy fusion!
Dianne is proud to make soaps that lather well and leave hands feeling clean but not dried out. She uses quality ingredients to ensure good results for the customers. For optimal performance, she highly suggests stocking soap on a well-drained soap dish. It is very important to her ideology to eliminate plastic waste. Plastic is used sparingly and is being progressively removed. Most items are wrapped in wax paper, cardboard shipping and packaging are used, and cardboard labels are used.
