With decades of sewing experience and a strong eye for detail, Helena (Na Na) is utilising her skills to produce high quality, handmade products.
During the COVID19 pandemic, she has dedicated her time to producing reusable face masks at an affordable cost. She has come up with a design that fits snugly on the face after refining several prototypes earlier this year and is comfortable to wear for extended periods. All the materials used to produce these masks are carefully selected and purchased within the community from local businesses.
Since then Helena has expanded her product range to include a variety of other products for the whole family, including your furry pets!
She can customise and personalise products as required.
Robyn from Rhubarb Patch Creations creates soft toys using Amigurumi crochet technique. Each piece is one of a kind, a unique heirloom that can be passed down to the next generation.
Robyn is also able to make customised pieces as required.
* What is Amigurumi crochet?
Amigurumi (編みぐるみ, lit. “crocheted or knitted stuffed toy”) is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. The word is a compound of the Japanese words 編み ami, meaning “crocheted or knitted”, and 包み kurumi, literally “wrapping”, as in 縫い包み nuigurumi “(sewn) stuffed doll”.
